Adis Andrews

Adis Andrews, a resident of Greenwell Springs and native of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the age of 83. She enjoyed painting, gardening, entertaining and cooking for family. Adis loved her grandchildren and looked forward to her time with them. Adis was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who will be missed dearly by all that knew her. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Thursday, April 12, 2012, from 5 PM until 9 PM and will resume on Friday, April 13, 2012, at 10 AM until service time at 12 PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by three sons, Wayne Andrews and wife, Dianne, Kenneth Andrews, and wife, Marcia, and Glynn Andrews and wife, Kay; one sister, Erma Kubinski; two brothers, Eugene Wilson and wife, Margaret, and Rodney Wilson, and wife, Bonnie; six grandchildren, Donna Smith, Michelle Crenshaw and husband Craig, Glynnda McDonald and husband Chad, Dage Andrews and wife Michele, Brad Andrews and wife Lexie, and Stephen Andrews; seven and a half great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Andrews; and her parents, Tomy and Linnie Wilson. Donations can be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
