

Agnes L. “Aggie” Leffel, “Don’t be troubled. You trust God, now trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father’s home, and I am going to prepare a place for you. If this were not so, I would tell you plainly. When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am. And you know where I am going and how to get there.” (John 14: 1-4) 91, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Sunday April 4, 2010. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family was the most precious thing to Agnes. She made it a point to attend every family function from the births of her grandchildren to school sporting events. Agnes’ hobby was traveling and she enjoyed bowling and fishing. She retired from EBRP Board as a school bus driving with over 30 years of service. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday April 6, 2010 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM and continuing at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Wednesday April 7, 2010 from 10:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Rev. Chris Decker will be presiding over the services. Agnes is survived by her children: Suzanne L. Adams and husband Dale, Lana L. Wade and husband Mike, Gordon “Rick” Leffel, Jr. and wife Lisa, and daughter-in-law Lolita Leffel; grandchildren: Tara Melancon, Karyn Adams, Danielle Leffel, Shanna Patterson, Shelley Leffel, Casey Quinley, and Carrie Feder; 14 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Helen Langlois; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Gordon Leffel, Sr.; son Ed Leffel; grandson Michael Dale Adams; and great grandson Chase Jarreau.
