Alene Stover Boudreaux, 66, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Greenwell Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. A 1964 graduate of Fortier High School in New Orleans, Alene was devoted to caring for her family. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Parish, and enjoyed reading, playing on the computer, and winning at Bingo. Alene is survived by her son Shawn J. Boudreaux and wife Ann Marie; grandchildren, Timothy Boudreaux, Jules Boudreaux, Alexandra Boudreaux and Kaleb Boudreaux; and sister, Wanda Pier and her husband Larry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Rodney Davis Boudreaux, and her parents, James Antry and Felicia Marie Stover. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Grace Health & Rehab in Zachary and Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 8:00am until the funeral service at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
