

Alice Langlois Reine passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born on September 20, 1939, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Bernice and Joseph Langlois.
Alice will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends and by all who had the privilege of knowing her. For 65 years, she faithfully served the Catholic Diocese at St. Anthony of Padua as church secretary and trusted assistant to parish leadership. Her unwavering dedication and commitment touched countless lives and helped strengthen the parish community. In addition to her many years of service, she was an active member of the Food Bank, the Altar Society, and Eucharistic Ministry. Her legacy of faith, service, and kindness will continue to inspire all that knew her. She will be remembered with gratitude, affection and lasting love.
Alice is survived by her children, Chris Reine (Darlene), Donna Glasper (James), and Tammy Reine (Kerri McIlvenna); grandchildren, Taylor Reine (Rebecca), Garrett Reine (Brianna), Travis Dodson (Dawn), Lance Dodson, Holly Partin (Brandon), and Jeanne Goudeau (Josh); great-grandchildren, Camden, Brayden, Maurcie, Maycie, Mia, Avery, Axton, and Emarie; sister, Patsy Bizette; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 60+ years, Pat; grandson, Patrick Dodson; parents, Joseph and Bernice Langlois and Ignaus Langlois; sister, Sylvia Darce; brothers-in-law, Alton Reine, Jr. and Gary Bizette.
Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 10am until the funeral service at 11am. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
