A native of Bogalusa and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Hospice of Baton Rouge. She was 83. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East on Thursday, July 21, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday, July 22, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Pastor Carl Bassett. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her husband, Paul H. Schoeffler Jr.; two sons, Paul H. Schoeffler III and wife Jeanne, of Baton Rouge, and Norman E. Schoeffler and wife Caryn, of Ponchatoula; a sister, Dorothy Armatta, of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Allyn Schoeffler and husband Adrian O'Keefe, of San Francisco, and Cary Schoeffler; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Henry and Emma Ackermann Randolph; five brothers, Norman, Henry, Earl, Elwood and Ward; a sister, Meta R. Wagner; and a granddaughter, Melissa Kay Schoeffler. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church and an accomplished artist, seamstress and quilter. >
