

Aline Vivien Hebert, a Slidell native and long time resident of New Roads passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Aline, born in 1945, is a graduate of Slidell High School and attended Southeastern University in Hammond. She is remembered for her many talents including painting, decorating for church and wedding receptions, serving as a spiritual leader for youth groups, long time Mothers' Club member and her love for Mardi Gras celebrations, LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints sporting events. Aline enjoyed working at the Pointe Coupee Parish Library and hosting Prayer Groups for teens at Catholic High School. She is survived by her three daughters and their husbands: Brenda and Duke Ehrhardt, Charlene and Tom Vredevelt, Patricia and Jeff Poche. Aline received great joy in spending time with her 9 grandchildren: Camille, Andrew, and Frances Ehrhardt, Emily, Anna and Thomas Vredevelt, Jeffrey, Frank and Samantha Poche. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Vivien Champagne. Aline is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Aline Vivien, her brothers, Charles Vivien and Lloyd "Mickey" Vivien, her son, Frank Pierce Hebert and her grandchildren, Audrey Ehrhardt, Julia Vredevelt, and Peyton Poche. May Aline rest in peace and know that she is loved by all. "The Lord is my Shepherd; there is nothing I lack." ~ Psalm 23. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 10 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2250 Main Street, Baton Rouge from 9:00-10:30 immediately followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated by Father Miles Walsh, a long time friend and confidante.
