

Allan Joseph “Joe” Cotten, a resident and native of Baton Rouge, La, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at the age of 29. He was a graduate of Central High School and a veteran of the US Navy. Joe worked for Brinks Security in the armored division. He was a member of the Baton Rouge and Jacksonville Chapters of the Ruff Ryders, a national bikers association, where he was known as “Rouge”. Joe was a talented artist, and had a passion for its various aspects. He was a loving husband, son, brother and grandson who will be dearly missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Jessica Rodriguez Cotten; his mother and stepfather, Nanette and Rick Odom; his father and stepmother, Daniel and Roxanne Cotten; his sister, Tracie Cotten Carroll and husband Robbie; his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Delores Heuvel; his niece, Madelyn Shaffett; and his nephew, Aaron Poe. Joe is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Allan and Bernice Hebert; and his paternal grandfather Clifton Cotten. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday from 6pm-9pm and continue on Friday from 10am until funeral service at noon. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
