Andrew Reeds Lowery was born on April 8, 1990, in Baton Rouge, LA. Though he was a current resident of Gillette, Wyoming, Andrew passed away while visiting family in Baton Rouge on June 17, 2022, at 32 years old. Andrew was a kind soul that was full of life and love. His infectious smile, his charm, and his personality led to a large circle of longtime friendships. He never met a stranger, and he was the kind of person that would give the shirt off of his back for anyone. Andrew attended Catholic High School and Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, then earned a general studies BA and PTEC Degree at Baton Rouge Community College. He was a proud U.S. Marine PFC, and later attended Western Welding Academy in Gillette, Wyoming, earning 7 certifications. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, travelling, team sports, and music. Andrew leaves behind his precious girlfriend, Shannon Journeau, and her four beautiful children, of Gillette, WY; father, Kevin Joseph Lowery of Baton Rouge; mother, Sharon Denham Triche (Owen) of Baton Rouge; sister, Elizabeth Lea Lowery of Baton Rouge; stepbrother, Austin Triche of Baton Rouge; paternal grandfather, Ernest Lawerence Lowery, Jr. (Sue) of Lake Charles, LA; maternal grandmother, Janis Denham of Baton Rouge; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. They will miss him dearly. Andrew was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Ammye Reeds Lowery of Lake Charles, and maternal grandfather, Howard Leon Denham of Baton Rouge. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation for Andrew on Saturday, June 25, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East (11000 Florida Blvd) at noon until memorial service at 2 pm. A graveside service will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park (9595 Florida Blvd). Pallbearers will be John Henry Laville, Jr., Taylor Stoma, F. Austin Rogers, Hayden Denham, Spencer Stevens, Parker Stevens, Benjamin Carroll, and Benjamin Landry, and honorary pallbearer, Patrick Ward.
