Angelo E. Macaluso, Sr. passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, at the age of 76, with his family at his side. He was an avid hunter and loved doing things with his grandkids. He was a retired pipeline welder out of Local Union 198 and was an employee of Go Tech. Angelo is survived by his wife of almost 52 years, Sherilyn; two sons, Sonny (Monica) and Randy; grandchildren, Dominik, Christian, Gabriel, Caden and Abigail. He is preceded in death by his parents, Giovanni and Nicolena; and brothers, Anthony, Joe, Emile and Lawrence. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, August 15, 2022, from 8:30am until the time of funeral services. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thanks to nurses, Kim and Joyce, and a very special thank you to Gwen, all with Clarity Hospice.
