Angie Romano D'Agostino

A loving mother, grandmother. great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, she died peacefully at her home in Baton Rouge on Friday, April 11, 2008. She was 89, born June 24, 1918. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Sam F. D'Agostino. Survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Tommy Guarino, Toni and C.J. Chenevert and Rose Mary and Dr. Louis Jeansonne III; and a son and daughter-in-law, Samuel "Sammy" and Cherie D'Agostino. She was the grandmother of Carmie Guarino Berry, Geri Guarino, Lisa Chenevert, Sam Chenevert. Kimberly Chenevert, Dr. Louis Jeansonne IV and his wife, Lindsay, Bryan Jeansonne, Amy D'Agostino, Samuel D'Agostino and his wife, Cara, and Alicia Beane. She was the great-grandmother of Joseph Berry and his wife Lauren, Jamie Berry Purpera and her husband, Jeff, Jasen Berry, Kate Mechwart, Tori Chenevert and Isabella D'Agostino. She was the great-great-grandmother of Cruz Bridges. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Carmela Romano; four sisters, Jennie Maggio, Nellie Saia, Rose Jerome and Josie Levatino; and three brothers, Joseph, Tony and Roy Romano. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, where she participated in the Catholic Daughters, Rosary Makers, Altar Society and Thirty-niners Club. Mom loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren. and great-great-grandchild. We love you so much and will truly miss you. You taught us everything we know! Visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 15, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Vic Messina, celebrant. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joseph Berry, Jasen Berry, Sam Chenevert, Dr. Louis Jeansonne IV, Bryan Jeansonne and Samuel D'Agostino.
