A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Anita passed away Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at her home in Central. She retired from the state of Louisiana Governor's Office. She was 57. Visitation at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 24, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jesse Bourgoyne. Anita is survived by her husband of 17 ‰, Danny Beck; mother, Veneda Hayes; a daughter, Amy Lawless O'Neal and husband, Shannon; a son, Aaron Lawless and wife, Sunny; a half-brother, Clifford Pleasant; three grandchildren, Emma Kate, Anna Grace Lawless and Aiden Patrick O'Neal; and her loyal companion Emmie. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur E. Pleasant; a sister, Annie Wilhem; and a grandson, Brennan Lawless. She was a dedicated member of Accountability Church, Watson. She was a Christian who loved her Lord, and read her bible every day.
