

""Take me home, what joy shall fill my heart, my God how great Thou art." A native of New Milford, CT and a resident of Baton Rouge, Anna Hine Barker passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. She was a member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church and a member of the DAR. She was retired from South Central Bell, and resided at Williamsburg Senior Living Center. She enjoyed every minute of her 95 years, and lived her life to its fullest with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed by those who loved her. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses: Barbara and Dell Housewright, Donna and Errick Stephens, Beverly and Keith Arceneaux, and Pam and Ron Sheets; and her siblings: Donald Hine, Bob Hine, and Fred and his wife Shirley Hine. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Jessica Thompson, Anne Thompson, Sam Thompson, Laura Kirkman, Diana Farris, Sara Strickland, Brian Arceneaux, Kristen Velinsky, and Keith Michael Boggs; as well as 8 great-grandchildren: Amber Moran, Stella and Austin Kirkman, Travis Strickland, Tabitha and Hailey Velinski, and Nicholas and Bryan Velinsky. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Raymond Hine; her husband, L.D. "Bill" Barker; siblings, Nellie Bullard and Thomas Hine; and grandchildren, Erin and Amanda Stephens. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Friday morning, from 9am until funeral service at 11am in the chapel. Graveside services will follow at Pine Bluff Cemetery in Dentville, MS at 2:30pm. Serving as Pallbearers will be: Dell Housewright, Errick Stephens, Keith Arceneaux, Ron Sheets, Sam Thompson, Brian Arceneaux, Keith Michael Boggs, D.J. Strickland, Owen Farris, and Kris Kirkman.
