

Anna Lee Durocher passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the age of 90. She was a native of Paincourtville, LA, born on Armelise Plantation, and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. She was a Mother’s Day Out teacher at Ingleside Methodist Church for 25 years. Anna was an artist specializing in oil painting and enjoyed flower gardening. Anna is survived by three daughters, Sue Sones (Floyd), Julie LeBoeuf (Harry) and DeEtte Collett; son, Dan Durocher (Shawn); grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, Daniel, Scott, Brandi, Leighanne, Dustin and Jordan; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Lou Alleman, Lena Roshto, Mary Landry and Polly Johnson. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Dudley C. “Dutch” Durocher; her parents, Philip and Irma Landry; and brothers, J.B. Landry and NuNu Landry. Visitation will be held at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S. Harrell’s Ferry Rd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 9:30AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Burial will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
