Anna Kathryn Humphrey Hall passed away at home Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. She was 91, born in Point, Texas, on Oct. 29, 1920. She was our beloved wife and mother, the center of our home and the sunshine in our hearts. Her long life included helping her mother feed the homeless from their family farm during the Great Depression, being a civilian worker on the Manhattan Project, a loving and tender wife and mother, a dedicated third-grade teacher and a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Clarence Elton Hall; daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Richard Schroeder; daughter, Elizabeth Lea Hall; her brother, Joseph Robert Humphrey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Allen Hall; her parents, Alan Alexander Humphrey and Lutitia Humphrey; in addition to her two brothers and two sisters. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Saturday, Nov. 26, from 9:30 a.m. until funeral service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment in Lone Star Cemetery in Point will be held at a later date.
