She will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Nannie loved to sew and cook for her family, and her favorite activity was fishing at The Camp on False River.
Ms. Anna is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Joffrion Hager, Humble TX.; son, Gordon Hunter “Don” Joffrion III and his wife, Donna Carlton Joffrion, Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Charles Bryce “Charlie” Hager, Sr. and wife Kaylyn, Darnall Hager, Kristen Hager Castaño and husband Daniel Castaño Vasquez, Gordon Hunter Joffrion IV and wife Ashley Chapman Joffrion and Jeffrey Corbett Hager; great grandchildren, Charles “Bryce” Hager Jr., Korbett James Hager, Abel Gordon Castaño, Emilia Grace Castaño and Huntley Anne Joffrion; and one brother, Otis Deshotels.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Hunter Joffrion, Jr., her parents, Charles Joseph and Lenora Joubert Deshotels; three sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will take place at Greenoaks Memorial Park and Funeral Home on Friday, November 23 from 5:00-8:00pm. Visitation will resume, Saturday, November 24 from 10:00am until funeral service time of 12:00pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Pastor Lee Haley from Parkview Baptist Church will preside over services. Pallbearers will be Ms. Anna’s granddaughters and grandsons.
In lieu of flowers donations in Ms. Anna’s name can be made to Parkview Baptist Church or Our Lady of Mercy Elementary School.
