Upon graduating from St. Joseph's Academy and Baton Rouge Business College, she was employed as Office Secretary for Franklin Life Insurance Company. She was the wife of Thomas A. Among her greatest joys were visiting Sicily and retracing her forefathers' footsteps, as well as her private tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel during her travels through Italy. She was a lifelong member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and a member of the St. Agnes Altar Society for 73 years. She was also a member of the Merry Matrons Social Club and the Te' Dansant Dance Club.
