A loved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, she passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Our Lady of theLakeRegionalMedicalCenter. She was 42, born on April 9, 1964, in St. Francisville. She grew up in Central and graduated fromCentralHigh Schoolin 1982. She received her associate degree in computer science fromSoutheasternLouisianaUniversityin 1984. She was a resident of Baton Rougeand was a data analyst with Woodward Clyde Consultants. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Nov. 27, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home Tuesday from 10 a.m. until religious service at 12:30 p.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her gentle and devoted husband of 20 years, Randall P. Saucier; and by her loving and devoted son, Benjamin M. Saucier, 17. She is also survived by her loving family: father and stepmother, Barry and Susan Smith; sister and brother-in-law, Kandyce S. and Brian Cowart; niece, Hannah Cowart; nephew, Hayden Cowart; stepsisters, Emily Cowart and Amy and Austin Berthelot; grandmother, Billy O. Smith; father and mother-in-law, R.J. and Pat Saucier; sister and brother-in-law, Cheli M. and Keith Roberson; sister-in-law, Rebecca L. Saucier; nieces, Amanda, Jessica and Samantha Roberson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Doherty; grandmother, Florine Doherty; grandfathers, Charles A. Doherty and the Rev. Ted Smith.
