Annabelle Arnaud Richard, a native of Arnaudville and resident of Baton Rouge, La. passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday, January 14, 2014 at 3:54 am at St. Joseph Carpenter House, surrounded by her loved ones. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Annabelle is survived by her children, Calvin Richard, Vickie Richard Vicknair, and Debbie St. John and husband Bill; grandchildren, Joseph Miguez III, Penny Richard, Tiffany Welker Green, and Justin Miguez; great-grandchildren, Joseph Miguez IV, Layla and Lacy Brown, Heather and Sophie Miguez, and Maryjane and Lyla Green; and sisters, Girley Oliver, Ethleen Taylor, and Earline Knott. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carrol Richard; parents Alba and Emitle Arnaud; grandson, Shane Lee Miguez; and siblings, Harry, Anitole-Fred, Irene, Hilda, Bull, Harvey, Ida and Iry Arnaud. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 2 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10 am until funeral service at 2 pm.
