A retired administrative assistant with the Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole, she died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at 12:30 a.m. at Golden Age Nursing Home, Denham Springs. She was 78 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Oct. 17, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes the funeral home chapel on Thursday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 9 a.m., conducted by Deacon Brent Duplessis. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, Henry A. Heltz; daughter, Connie Waymire; five grandchildren, Andy and Danny Heltz, Allison Vosberg and Christopher and Joshua Waymire; nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by a son, Andy Heltz; sister, Bonnie Melvin; brother, Bubba Neff; and son-in-law, James Waymire.
