Archie Le'Bourgeois

Archie H. LeBourgeois, Sr. a native of Head of Island and resident of St. Amant passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the age of 88.  Archie worked at BASF Wyandotte for many years prior to his retirement and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  Visitation will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am officiated by Rev. Michael Galea.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.  He is survived by his wife, Eva Vicknair, 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Archie and Katie LeBourgeois, Jr., Mark LeBourgeois, and Keith LeBourgeois and a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Lawrence Roberts; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his first wife of 50 years, Sue Falcon LeBourgeois, a daughter Rosanne Boyd, a son Kyle LeBourgeois and a sister, Sylvia Simoneaux.  His family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the care given Mr. LeBourgeois by Cardinal Hospice.   Archie was an avid golfer and never missed his Tuesday tee-time.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
