

Arthur Joseph Orillion III, “Boy”, died April 3, 2023. He was born on October 10, 1943, and was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. He graduated from Catholic High School in 1962 and attended LSU. He went on to help build the brand Arthur’s Clothes of Distinction and worked there for many years. Arthur met and forged many friendships throughout his career. An innovative entrepreneur, Arthur created Group Sales Specialists, successfully selling promotional items until his retirement in 2016. In his younger days he enjoyed tailgating at LSU, going to Mardi Gras, boiling crawfish, grilling outdoors, camping, fishing, vacationing in Florida, and was always ready for an adventure.
His greatest love was his wife of nearly fifty-five years, Linda Babineaux Orillion. Linda and Arthur enjoyed traveling all over the country and spoke of the many wonderful, beautiful places they visited throughout the years. They also owned a condo on Pensacola Beach and spent the evenings together watching the sunset. Years of memories were made at the beach with their children, friends, and numerous family members. Later in life, Arthur enjoyed watching LSU football along with visiting with his children, siblings, and friends at home. He enjoyed reminiscing, playing with his dog, Buddy, and was always up for a Fleur de Lis sausage pizza!
Arthur Joseph Orillion III was preceded in death by his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Linda Babineaux Orillion, his parents Arthur Joseph Orillion, Jr. and Marie Lowrey Orillion, his brother Terry Orillion, and his beloved dog Buddy.
He is survived by his daughter Stacey Orillion and his son Keith Orillion. He is also survived by his siblings Mike Orillion, Valerie Baker (Paul), Judy Hodgeson (Roger), Marie Simcoe (Don), Patricia Orillion, Deborah Orillion Craft, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday, May 8, 2023, at St. George Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Visitation is at 11:00 a.m. followed by mass at 12:00 p.m. A celebration of life gathering will be held immediately after mass at the Walden Clubhouse located at 1201 Thoreau Dr., Baton Rouge, La. 70808. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a local animal rescue group, or the charity of your choice.
