An electrician and member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 995, he died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at his home in Baker. He was 67, a native of Kentwood and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Nov. 9, from 10 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by his brother-in-law, Harlon Toney. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Audrey Kinchen Lilly; daughters, Nancy Lilly LaValley and Jane Lilly Pendergist; grandsons, Jacob Pendergist, Daniel Pendergist and Joshua LaValley; granddaughter, Ruth Lilly LaValley; and three sisters, Lettie Mae Dillon, Hattie Ognibene and Missy Simmons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lem H. Lilly and Corine Effie Woodward Lilly; brothers, Pierce, L.H. and Troy Lilly; and sisters, Annie Toney, Sallie Phillips and Vernie Varden.
