

A homemaker, mother and a resident of Denham Springs, she died at 7:15 a.m.Monday, March 19, 2007, at the Butterfly Wing of Baton Rouge Hospice. She was 88 and a native of Indian Mound. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m.to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Visiting atLockhartRoadBaptistChurch, 8327 Lockhart Road, Denham Springs, from 8 a.m.Thursday until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Lee Ostten and the Rev. Jim Efferson. Interment inDenhamSpringsMemorialCemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Aucoin and Louise Aucoin May and husband Dennis; four sons and their spouses, Thomas "Sonny" and Carolyn Aucoin, Andrew Jr. and Sissy Aucoin, Kenny and Jean Aucoin and Larry and Donna Aucoin; son-in-law, Jack Fugler; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Andrew Lee Aucoin Sr.; parents, Leonard and Ollie Kendrick Long; daughter, Wanda Fugler; son, Carroll Aucoin; grandson, Timothy May; and great-grandson, Kyle Grimes. Pallbearers will be her sons, Sonny, Andrew, Kenny and Larry and grandsons, Dallas Kelley and Todd May. Honorary pallbearers are son-in-law, Dennis May, grandsons and great-grandsons. Her children wish to thank Acadian Ambulance for their prompt response.
