

A native of Whitehall, LA and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Audrey passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the age of 81. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life involved time spent with her family, especially around the holidays. Audrey enjoyed shopping with her sisters, daughter, and grandchildren and was a wonderful cook, especially her famous crawfish bisque. She and her husband enjoyed long walks often times in the mall if the weather was inclement. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Baker, later at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, and in final years, Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Audrey is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Wesley L. Brignac, Sr.; children, Wesley Brignac, Jr. (wife, Terry Anne), Arthur Brignac (wife, Bonnie), and Belinda Porche (husband, Chris); grandchildren, Betty Marie, Daniel, Brent, Kayla, Spencer, and Stefanie; great-grandchildren, Mahdi, Jillian, Brianna, William, Braiden, Owen, Emmitt, Noah, Camille, and Damon. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lillie Dupuy; siblings, TJ “Sonny” Dupuy, Edgar Dupuy, Elizabeth Deslatte, Margie Sullivan, Doris Dupuy Lambert; and great-granddaughter, Mallory Reggio. The memorial funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (445 Marquette Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70806) at 10:30 am celebrated by Father Cleo Milano.
