Barbara Bishop

Barbara Ann Bishop, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born July 14, 1938 in Carrollton, MS. Barbara was a loving mother and sister. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, computer games and keeping up with politics. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, and would do anything for them. She will be greatly missed. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Oda Compton Bishop and Myrtle Sanders Bishop, former husband Joseph (Chuck) Lillie Sr., brother Richard Bishop, and sisters Alene Pinedo and Faye Forrest. She is survived by her children Melinda Sharkey, Kimberly Bayham and husband Troy, Kathryn Allemand and husband Jeremie, Joseph Lillie Jr. and wife Shanna; grandchildren Misty Meyers, Michael St. Romain, Julien Laux, Audrey Laux, Joseph Lillie and Jeremie Allemand II; great-grand children Kelsie St. Romain, Brandon Gautreau and Kaylen Gautreau; brothers Jesse Bishop, Stanley Bishop and David Bishop; sister Lynn Bishop. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at Greenoaks.Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 12:00 pm until service starts at 2:00 pm.
