Mrs. Barbara Graff Matherne, a resident of Greenwell Springs, LA., passed away May 23, 2025, at the age of 86. Mrs. Barbara was born in New Orleans, LA., on January 11,1939 to parents, Lionel and Cora Graff.
Mrs. Barbara enjoyed dancing, and most of all taking care of her family; she has been an active member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, “Buddy” Delery Matherne Sr.; children, Delery Matherne Jr. (Kellie), Corie Crain and Lionel Matherne (LeeAnn); grandchildren, Danielle Gaspard, Cali Kennedy (Joe), Ethan Crain, and Matthew Matherne (Sarah); and seven great grandchildren.
Preceded in death are, her parents Lionel and Cora Graff; sisters, Sylvia Keen, and Sheryl Puissegur and one granddaughter, Caitlyn Matherne Capone.
Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 10:00 am until funeral service time of 12:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
