Barbara "Bobbie" Ann McClure

Funeral services will be held for Barbara Ann “Bobbie” McClure at 10:00 am on Monday, January 11, 2021 at St James Episcopal Church with Fr. Drew Harmon officiating. Burial will take place later in the afternoon, 2:30pm, at Woodland Cemetery in Jena, LA. Bobbie passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. She was 51 years old. Bobbie graduated from Louisiana State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education. She was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Bobbie was a gifted artist who loved to travel and spend time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her daughters, Anasophia Aviles, Talia Aviles; son, Gabriel Aviles; parents, Fred and Margie McClure; sister, Marla McClure and brothers, Keith McClure, Clifford McClure and Allen McClure. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joseph and Ella McClure, Hardy and Lena Summerall and a nephew, Ryan McClure. Pallbearers will be Clint, Trey, Connor, Keith, Clifford and Allen McClure with Shane and Matthew McClure serving as honorary pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bobbie’s name to MD Anderson Melanoma Research. Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
