She was preceded in death by her father, Vories Paul Ponthier; mother, Pearl Johnson; husband, Wayne A. Myers; brother, Paul (Winkie) Ponthier; sister, Marie Troha; and daughter in-law, Cherisse Myers.
She is survived by her 7 children, David Myers (Dawn), Stephanie Myers, Katherine Gauthier Fry (Mark), Kevin Myers (Susan), Alison Lamana (Tony), Jeremy Myers (Lisa), and Eric Myers (Lindsay); 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Linda Ortego.
She loved teaching, tutoring, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She enjoyed trips to the beach.
