Barbara Prather Power, 74, passed away at home in Clinton, MS on Monday, November 27th after a 20 month battle with Glioblastoma. Bobbie was born on September 19, 1943 in Baton Rouge. She lived her life serving the Lord, caring for her family and home, and nurturing her gardens. She is survived by her husband, Richie Power, her children, Troy Power, Jennifer Velasquez, and Brittany Power-Holly, her brothers, Bert and Myron Prather, and grandchildren, Michael and Lacy Velasquez. Bobbie was preceded in death by her mother, Connie Prather and her father, James Prather, and sister, Faye Dunnington. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 12:00pm until service time at 2:00pm. Interment will follow on the ground of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
