A retired railroad engineer, he died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 54 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Thursday, April 16, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Gerald Burns. Entombment in St. George Mausoleum. Survived by his wife, Marion Armand; mother, Jeanette Armand; two sons, Joshua and Jeremy Armand; and grandson, Noah Armand. Preceded in death by his father, Harold P. Armand; and brother, Craig Armand Sr. Pallbearers will be Joshua Armand, Jeremy Armand, Craig Armand Jr., Gary Chelette, Danny Rabalais, Todd Joffrion, Dale Guillot and Hank Cox. Honorary pallbearers are Noah Armand, Ryan Joffrion, Aaron Kowal and Greg Blades. He was a member of BLET 531, vice president of the Pack Backers Association and member of the Baton Rouge Corvette Club. He loved cooking for the Wolfpack football team.
