Beatrice "Bea" Breaux

Beatrice (Bea) Breaux, 82, of Baton Rouge, LA passed away in her home on Thursday, June 11, 2026. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a wonderful grandmother, as well as a beloved member of the Lighthouse Fellowship Church where she performed treasury duties. Bea was always cheery and greeted others with love and compassion. She would always find a way to help others in need. She will be greatly missed by those who loved and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father Louis Merel Preedom, her mother Velma Kimball, her older brother Thomas Preedom, her second older brother Barry Preedom, and her younger sister Rebecca Preedom.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Hayes P. Breaux Jr and their daughters Suzanne Shelton (Jonathan Shelton) and Elizabeth Davis (Travis Davis).Brothers, Tom Preedom and Steven Preedom. Along with their three grandchildren Quinn Breaux, Franklin Shelton, and Mckenzie Davis.
