

A loving and dedicated husband and father, he passed away Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at Our Lady of theLakeRegionalMedicalCenter. He was 59 and a resident and native of Baton Rouge. He was a longtime employee of Associated Grocers in Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Dec. 26, from 4 p.m.to 9 p.m.and on Wednesday from 9 a.m.to 11 a.m.Graveside service will follow atHillcrestMemorialGardensin Baker. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lee Anderson; mother, Bessie Anderson Wills; two daughters and sons-in-law, Samantha and Shane Savoy of Las Vegas and Becky and Phillip Williard of Ruston; son, Paul Anderson Jr. of Baton Rouge; two sisters; and six grandchildren, Steven and Shannon Savoy, Kayla and Chloe Anderson and Matthew and Joshua Williard. He was preceded in death to heaven by a host of family members and close friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Savoy, Joe Ardoin, Jackie Anderson Jr., Chris Bland, Gerald Wray and Clay Arceneaux. Honorary pallbearers are Jody Renick, Ronnie Ardoin and Phil Leader. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed nature and canoeing. He truly enjoyed his life and his family, having traveled with them to more than 40 states, sadly falling short of his wish to visit all 50. His daily "phone checks" on all of his family members will be missed.
