Bessie Ruth Jones McDaniel

Mrs. Bessie Ruth Jones McDaniel was born on January 24, 1928 and passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 92. She was a native of Woodville, Mississippi, former long-time resident of Baton Rouge and was a current resident of Quitman, Louisiana. Mrs. McDaniel enjoyed her daily activities at the Jackson Council On Aging. Most of all, she loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Garcie and Russell; grandson, Nicholas Garcie and Raegan; great-grandchildren, Hannah Garcie, Sarah Garcie and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie McDaniel; parents, Ackland H. Jones and Elizabeth Jones and eight brothers. Due to Covid-19, private services will be held for Mrs. McDaniel. Rabenhorst Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
