A retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections with 35 years of service and a resident and native of Baton Rouge, she died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at her home. She was 86. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday, April 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home chapel on Monday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Dr. Paul Anderson. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by two nephews, Hal "Buck" Macmurdo and Richard E. Macmurdo; four great-nephews, Dr. Hal D. Macmurdo, Charles M. Macmurdo, William E. Macmurdo and Richard B. Macmurdo; and two great-nieces, Jennifer Macmurdo Chauvin and Megan Dunn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Dubois; parents, Charles and Jeanette Richard; a sister, Thelma Richard Macmurdo; and a brother, Charles Richard. She was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School.
