
Betty Killgore Tinnin, 90, a native of Shreveport and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 9 a.m. followed by service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. David Allen. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jack Rayborn, Michael Rayborn, Brandon Rayborn, Bill Taylor, Milton Godail and Bill Herbert. Honorary pallbearers are Joseph Modicut and Fred Bryan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. Jack Tinnin. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Tinnin Rayborn and husband John, of Baton Rouge; two grandsons, Jack Rayborn and wife Melissa, of Orange Beach, Ala., and Michael Rayborn and wife Julie, of Navarre Beach, Fla.; four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Chandler, Brooke and Aiden Rayborn; and two great-great-grandchildren, Colten and Jackson Rayborn. Her family wishes to express its deep appreciation to Delores Zilton, Angela Allen and Jackie Bickham for the loving care they gave her during her illness. The family would like to thank Dr. Gerald P. Miletello and his staff for their kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
