"A native and resident of Baton Rouge, Betty passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016. She was 76 and a retired banker. Visitation will be at Florida Boulevard Baptist Church on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 from 5 pm until 8 pm and resumes on Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 9 am until religious services at 10:30 am conducted by Rev. Joey Beeson. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Betty is survived by her husband, Edward Ott Trask; daughters, Cheryl Trask Seay and husband Whit, and Karen Trask Perault and husband Don; sister, Velma DeLage Putman; brother, Joseph Ovide DeLage, Jr.; and grandchildren, Jessica Elaine Seay, Allison Elizabeth Seay, Kayla Marie Perault and Justin Trask Perault. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Ovide DeLage, Sr. and Velma Dodson DeLage. Betty loved to paint and to cheer for the LSU Tigers.
