A resident of Prairieville, she died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2007, at 5:30 p.m.at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 79 and a native of Baton Rouge. Graveside service at theDevallFamilyCemeteryat 2 p.m.Monday, Feb. 5, conducted by the Rev. Charles Marceaux. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Wayne Cook and Wanda and Kelly Thomas; two sisters, Yvonne Devall and Beulah Arncencaux; four grandchildren, Vicki Melancon, Liz Cook, Holly Sheets and Brandon Thomas; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Watts.
