
MOMO passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at 10:35 p.m. She was 81, a resident of Central and native of Washington state. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Feb. 6, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church on Tuesday Feb. 7, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Mike Moroney, celebrant. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by her daughter whom she loved dearly, Wanda Landry Burkett; son-in-law, Michael Burkett; three granddaughters, DeAnn Burkett Fife and husband Brian, Holly Burkett Parenti and husband Marc, and Lesley Burkett Restivo and husband Brad; six great-grandchildren, Sydney and Kaitlyn Fife, Damon and Brendan Parenti and Dylan and Luke Restivo; her sister, Marian Eaton and her husband, Allan, of Laughlin, Nev.; and brothers, Ron Gray and wife Diana, and Robert Gray and wife Marguerite, both of Washington state. She is also survived by the extended Burkett family who welcomed her with open arms as though she was one of their own, they are very special people, and special friends, Kelli Sanchez Ballow and husband Jeff, and their baby, Evan. Preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie J. Landry and Ray E. Parsons; parents, Charles and Laura Gray; and brother, Ralph. Pallbearers will be Dennis Burkett, Brad Restivo, Marc Parenti, Brian Fife, C.P. Bourgeois and Steve Bourgeois. Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandsons, Dylan and Luke Restivo and Damon and Brendan Parenti. The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to St. Joseph's Hospice aides/nurses especially, Brandi Leduff, for their exceptional care during this difficult time.
