

Beverly Joseph Amador, a native of Morgan City, Louisiana and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed into his eternal rest on December 13, 2020, at the age of 78. He graduated from Morgan City High School and went on to Louisiana State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Business Administration. He had a career in Accounting, working for Federal Government, State of Louisiana, and retired working for the City of Baton Rouge. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a dedicated Christian, always sharing his faith. In his younger days, he enjoyed helping raise money for United Way and was involved in Prison Ministry. He was a loving husband, father, and loved all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Creighton and Marie Gray Amador, sister Dianne Amador Slack and brother-in-law Chester Lament. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Anne Fontenot Amador, children, Julie Amador Rheams, husband Glenn of Zachary, Louisiana, Susan Marie Amador of Portland, Oregon, John Louis Amador, wife Julie Labauve Amador of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and sister, Katherine Amador Lament of Columbus, Ohio. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, Louisiana on December 18, 2020 from 11:00 AM - 12:00PM. Funeral services will begin at 12:00PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
