To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: A time to weep, a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to DANCE!! Ecclesiastes 3:1,4 It's time to dance! It is time to celebrate a life well lived! Beverly Faye Hamilton Ramirez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister aunt, friend and dance partner is HOME! Faye was the third of 6 children born to Herbert and Bea (Templet) Hamilton in Plaquemine, Louisiana on March 2, 1930. She liked to say that she got her PHd in 1947- that being her "Plaquemine High Diploma". She was a class clown that loved to make the teachers laugh. After graduation she worked for the telephone company where she was an operator until 1952, the year that she married her first husband, Robert L. Kleinpeter. They reared seven children during their 32 year marriage. During their marriage Faye was a member of the St. George Altar Society. In 1994, Faye married her beloved, Charles Dale Ramirez. They spent twenty years celebrating and dancing their way through life. They were devoted to their children and their faith. They were active members of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church attending daily mass and participating in Eucharistic Adoration. Faye lived and loved life to its fullest! Alzheimer's' Disease may have stolen some of her memories, but it could not diminish her generous, loving spirit or spunky personality. As with every obstacle she faced in life, she made the best of it and handled it with humor, courage and grace. In 2014, Faye's beloved husband, Dale preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her oldest son, Rob Kleinpeter as well as four of her siblings, Marian Nesbit (Buff), Bobbie Bergeron (Eustis Nesbit), Herb Hamilton (Theresa), and Terry Hamilton (Nancy). Faye is survived by her sister, Gayle Chapman (Tracy). Left to cherish her memory are her children: daughter-in-law, Sherri Copponex Kleinpeter, sons Greg Kleinpeter (Donna), David Kleinpeter (Wendy), Carl Kleinpeter (Brigitte), Brian Kleinpeter, daughters, Amy Kleinpeter (Wes Grissom), Laurie Kleinpeter Laville (Duke). Faye is also survived by Dale's children daughter, Donna L. Ramirez; sons C. Michael Ramirez (Patti), David K. Ramirez (Craig Brock); Gary J. Ramirez (Carol,) and John D. Ramirez. Faye is survived by 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, Lee Kleinpeter (wife, Tiffany, daughters, Emmie and Lily), Tom, Matt and Beth Kleinpeter, Dustin Kleinpeter (wife Adele, son, Warren, daughter Addison) Claire Kleinpeter Weisse (husband, Lambert, daughter, Emma Faye, son, Bubba) Jordan Kleinpeter, Michael Kleinpeter (wife, Stephanie, daughter, Anna Claire, son, Mikey) Alli Matte (husband, Bradley, son John Bradley), Josh Riley (wife, Rachel, daughters, Rosie and Liliana), Kari and Chloe Kleinpeter, Kaitlyn Thibodeaux (husband Kade, Sons Tripp, Niles, Silas daughter, Adler) Garrett Grissom, Henry Laville (wife, Morgan daughter, Madeleine) Hannah and Louis Laville. When diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, Faye's family began taking care of her and formed "Team Gains" for her support. Over the many years that we have had the privilege and honor of caring for our fun loving little Mamma, we have had wonderful, cherished caregivers who joined in taking turns with Gains. God always provided just whom we needed at just the right time. We wish to thank, Sherri Kleinpeter, Donna Jo Hamilton Perrera, Donna Ramirez, Barbara Vroon, Leah Price, Mary Catherine Ewell, Lois Harkins and Susan Bandaries who helped us along the journey. As her needs grew we were blessed with the dynamic sister duo that became part of our family and loved our mom as if she was their own. Our beloved Dottie Smith, who we lost to Covid in 2021 and her sister, our sweet, Debbie Albrecht, who was with us to the end of Mom's journey. Faye was equal parts FUN and FAITH. Our own little Carol Burnett and Mother Theresa rolled into one. That may seem hard to imagine, but that is exactly what she was; a living saint, yet also a goofball who loved spreading joy and love. She was loved by all and will be cherished in our hearts forever. Well done good and faithful servant!I guess Faye would be glad that she set a recent record of sorts when she became the longest living patient under the care of Audubon Hospice. Their good care and support helped her set that record. We wish to thank them for 3 years and 4 months of support and care along the way! In particular we thank nurses Denise and Lana and CNAs Lyric and Courtney.
