Beverly Marie West

Beverly Marie West, New Orleans native and Baton Rouge resident passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015 at the age of 72. Beverly worked for the LA Shelter Workshop and Metro Enterprises; was a Council on Aging member; Special Olympics swimming, bowling, and softball participant; had a passion for gardening, craft projects, shopping, and movies. Beverly is survivied by brother and sister-in-law, William "Billy" Eugene and Daria West; sister, Shirley W. Perkins, and sister & brother-in-law, Dave and Patricia “Patsy” Owings; nieces and nephews: Meagan West, William West, Debra Bowman, Billy Owings, Lee Owings, Melissa Stewart, and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl West, brother-in-law, Hines Ray Perkins, nephew, Michael Perkins, and niece, Beth Owings. She attended St. Agnes and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Monday, March 16, 2015 at Our Lady of Mercy from 1:00 pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm.
