n July 3, 2021 our sweet, sassy, fun loving mom, Billie Sykora went to see Jesus. Anyone who ever met her was effected by her smile and her love for her Savior. Billie was a founding member of The Chapel and owned the Bible and Book Center in Baton Rouge for over 30 years. She loved helping everyone who came in contact with her to learn more about our Lord and Savior. She loved her family with passion and was always willing to help babysit, watch ball games and ride roller coasters. We will miss her but rejoice knowing she is reunited with our dad who was the love of her life, her son Jim and that for the first time, she will get to meet and hold her first son, Garland. She was a Godly example to all who knew her. Billie was 89 years old, a native of Houston, Texas who resided the last 50 plus years in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim, sons Garland and Jim and her parents, William and Lurline Richardson. She is survived by her daughters Janet Dearman (Bill), Jeanine Cusimano (Frank), daughter in law Dianne Sykora; her grandchildren Jon Sykora, Matt Dearman (Rachael), Steven Dearman (Katie), Jay Sykora (Courtney), Ryan Cusimano, Kyle Cusimano (Shelby) and Amy Cramb (Brian); and great grandchildren Weston, Jake, Cooper, Charlotte and Evelyn Sykora, Addie, Murphy, Virginia, Emma, Rylie and Grayson Dearman.
