Billy Joe Haynes

Billy Joe Haynes born April 28th, 1934, native of Waldo Arkansas, former resident of Denham Springs of forty years and resident of Wisner, Louisiana passed away February 7th, 2014 at the age of 79. Billy was a devoted husband of 58 years to Shirley Haynes and devoted father to three daughters. Billy retired as an instrument technician at Formosa Plastics where he worked for 35 years. Billy served in the Navy and enjoyed hunting, fishing, LSU and Saints football. He is survived by wife, Shirley Haynes, three daughters, Vickie Cornette and husband Ron, Veronica Accornero, and husband John, and Vanessa Haynes; four grandchildren, Clay and Shay Cornette, Tsion and Milo Accornero and his beloved cat, Victor. He is preceded in death by his parents, Euell and Narvell Haynes. Pallbearers are, Billy “Sonny” Stiles, Gary Stiles, Bradley Stiles, Wade Stiles, Jerry Stevens and Greg Tabor. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Monday, February 10th, 2014 from 10:00am til service time of 12:00pm.
