Bobby Mashon

Bobby DeWayne Mashon, a resident of Denham Springs, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the age of 65. He enjoyed fishing, playing bourre’ and spades, working in the yard, came to love arts and crafts, and spoiling his grandchild. Bobby is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gloria Hammonds Mashon; daughter, Laura Marie Schultz Fisher; granddaughter, Emmie Renae Braud; siblings, Donnie Mashon and wife, Angela, and Glenda Stokes and husband, Mike; step-sisters, Alice McGraw and husband, Tommy, Sandra Threeton and husband, John, Sharon Huffman and husband, Curtis, Linda Tillman and husband, Sonny; step-brothers, Eddie Hoyt, and Wilbert Thompson and wife, Terri; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Elsie Juanita Wright Hoyt and husbands, Frank Gilbert Mashon, Herbert Edward Hoyt, and Wilbert Thompson, Sr.; brothers, Ronald Joseph “Pee Wee” Mashon; and step-sisters, Diane Starns and Sandra Dee Landry. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 8 a.m. till Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoak Memorial Park.
