Bonnie Faye Jones Crowell Davis

Bonnie Jones (Crowell) Davis passed away the morning of October 25, 2018, at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 78. She was born in Franklinton, LA on April 18, 1940, to Fleming and Josephine Jones, and a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.

She is survived by her children, Shelia Johnson and husband, Troy of Ventress, LA, Darrel Crowell and wife, Bea of Baton Rouge, LA, Sandy Tisdale and husband, Butch of Walker, LA, Greg Crowell and wife, Sandy of Denham Springs, LA and Sheri Thames of Panama City, FL; step-children, Wayne Davis of California, Denise Scalco of Texas and Karen Givens of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Cindy Rose, Brandon Tisdale, Carie Whittington, Amy Jordan, Dustin Crowell, Jack Watts, Kyle Thames, Cory Thames, Jacob Crowell, Jeremy Crowell and Devin Jeansonne; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and two sisters, Delores Crowe of Monroe, LA and Gloria Nell Jordan of Bogalusa, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Davis; son, David Sean Crowell; granddaughter, Melissa Blount; brothers, Buddy Jones, David Jones and James Jones and sisters, Clara Latino and Athalea Haley.

Services will be at 2:00pm Monday, October 29, 2018 at Greenoaks Funeral Home-9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815 with visitation from 12:00pm to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Brother Collin McClendon will officiate the services with the pallbearers to be: Cory Thames, Brandon Tisdale, Devin Jeansonne, Jeremy Crowell, Jacob Crowell and Dustin Crowell.
