

Brenda June Perdue Daquanno of Baton Rouge, LA died June 6 2016 at Nottingham Nursing Facility following a lengthy battle with dementia. Brenda was born in Lake Charles, LA on August 28, 1952 to Robert L. and Jeanette Ferguson Perdue. Brenda is survived by her husband of 18 years, Sam Daquanno of Baton Rouge, LA; her daughters Jennifer Easterwood of Prairieville, LA and Michelle Moix and husband Brian of Roland, AR; her step-children Jeffrey Daquanno and wife Kathleen of Baton Rouge, LA and Belinda Methvin and husband Reid of Baton Rouge, LA; seven grandchildren: Robert Brendan Harp of Prairieville, LA, Emerie Tyne Pearl Smith, Leo Brian David Moix, Jude Michael Gates Moix, all of Roland, AR, Stephen Tyson and Katherine of Central, LA, Shelly Fiorito and Nick of Mandeville, LA, and James Kirk Daquanno of Baton Rouge, LA; and seven great grand-children. She is also survived by three sisters, Donna Perdue Dixon and Kevin of Liberty, MS, Debbie Perdue Daniel and Brian of St. Francisville, LA and Vonda Perdue Brown and Wes of St. Francisville, LA; 1 uncle, Bill Perdue of Iowa, LA and 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Zito of Baton Rouge and Virgie Panepinto of Baton Rouge; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Brenda was a graduate of Zachary High School. She worked most of her life in banking. She worked many years with Louisiana National Bank and Capital One Bank. Before getting sick, Brenda devoted most of her time to doting on her grandchildren, especially her first two Brendan (her namesake)&Emerie. She loved spending time traveling with Sam. Anyone who knew Brenda also knew her love for The Beatles and Gone with the Wind. She was loved by her family and will be greatly missed. The family extends its heartfelt thanks to her special caregivers Vanessa Ridgeway and Tomeka Stewart. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Wednesday June 8, from 6pm until 9pm in the evening and Thursday June 9, 2016, from 9am until time of service at 11am, officiated by Rev. Kevin Dixon followed by burial at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Brendan Harp, Brian Moix, Don Deville, Jeff Daquanno, Stephen Tyson, and Jim Easterwood. Honorary Pallbearers are Leo Brian David Moix, Jude Michael Gates Moix, William "Bill" Perdue, Randy Perdue, Lynn Deville, and Brian Daniel.
