Buddy Dale Picard, born June 17, 1944, a native of Livonia and a resident of Livingston, went home to his Lord and savior on Monday, Feb. 6, 2012. Buddy was a retired member of IBEW Local 995 with 40 years of service. He was married to the love of his life, Mary Wiltz Picard for 50 years. From out of this union seven children were born. Buddy is survived by his wife, Mary W. Picard; six daughters, four sons, Letha G. Picard, Melissa P. Curry and husband Kevin, Vera L. Bean, Tiffanee P. Hughes and husband Andrew, Palmer D. Picard and wife Jessica, Patrica P. Wolfe and husband Brian, and Bryan K. Picard and wife Mary, and Susan P. Dugas and husband Charles, children of Anita Burcham and Buddy Picard; and daughter-in-law, Dawn Picard. Preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Womack; sons, Monty Roy Picard and Ivan Dale Picard; granddaughter, Sommer Gordon; and son-in-law, Odell Bean. He also has 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Williamson, Brennan Picard, Matthew Hughes, Palmer Dane Picard II, Buddy Dale Picard II and Brandon Picard. Honoree pallbearers are Chase Hymel, Nash Curry and Kevin Conner. Services at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 10 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. until services at noon. Burial in The Garden of Prayer at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
