

Ms. Camilla Sabella a long time resident of Baton Rouge and residing in Baker, LA. passed away July 23, 2015, after a lengthy 18 years with Dementia, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Theresa and Sonny Godso surrounded by her family. She was born on January 16, 1929 to parents, Ralph and Geni Campanile. Ms. Sabella was a honorary member of the St. Louis Altar Society and a member of St. Louis King of France Catholic Church. She will be remembered for always having a meal on the table, a pot of coffee brewing and a beautiful smile on her face. She loved her family dearly and also enjoyed her Casino trips. Her door was always open to anyone that wanted to enter. She is survived by her children, Theresa and Sonny Godso, Jo and Dennis Burkett, Kenny and Gwen Tiner, Jerrianne and Steve Landaiche and Thomas and Karen Tiner; grandchildren, Dana Godso, Tara and David Manuel, Del and Melissa Godso, Jode Burkett, Casey and Laurie Burkett, Amanda and Nate Smith, Camie and Bryan James, Laurie and Kris Johnson, Lee Landaiche, Chris Landaiche, Gregory Patrick and Jeffrey Patrick, Charlie Tiner, Amy and Chris Nicosia and Reagan Outlaw; nineteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and one sister in law, Eppie Tiner Parker. Preceded in death by husbands, Munro Tiner and Mike Sabella; parents Ralph and Geni Fera Campanile; brothers, Tony, Joe, Mike, Louis, Vince Campanile; sisters, Edith Waller, Mamie Thomas, Annette Tarver, Angie Territo and Mary Alello and great grandson, Caleb Michael Godso. Pallbearers will be: Del Godso, Jode Burkett, Casey Burkett, Lee Landaiche, Chris Landaiche and Shaun Godso and Honorary Pallbearer: Charlie Tiner. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, with the Rosary being recited at 6:30pm. Visitation will resume at St. Gerard Catholic Church on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 8:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to thank Cathy Smith and staff for the The Tender Loving Care shown to Camilla and also the New Century Hospice Care, especially Sarah, Darcy, Barbara, Mel, Jessica and Aliana and Jim Stanley who sang many a beautiful songs to her.
