Jolie,

I was shocked and saddened when I learned of Carey's death. We were in our own quarantine for the last three weeks, so did not know Carey was fighting illness. I regret not be able to pray for ya'll while he was sick or to check in to see if we could help in some other way. Carey was a wonderful, kind and giving friend who I will miss very much. He was one in a million. Angee and I are praying for you and the family. Please call on us if you need something.

I have known Carey ever since grammar school and throughout his life. I most remember Carey for his abundant kindness and delightful sense of humor. My family adored Carey and will miss him very much. He was godfather to my youngest daughter and set a memorable example to her and her sister. I know Carey and Pat have a lot of jokes to share and catch up on in their heavenly home. I will keep Carey's family in my daily prayers. Blessings.

Throughout our mutual careers, as a CPA, I always knew that I could refer my clients to Carey and that he would handle their legal needs with integrity, kindness and the greatest of care. I always enjoyed working together with him and sharing ideas and helping people. He will be so very missed by all of us. Both my wife Sandy and I are saddened by his passing.

From our Family to yours, we are truly sorry for this great loss of Carey!! Oh, his parents were such wonderful souls. Carey was so kind and a wonderful, southern gentleman. Our families grew up together, so on behalf of my siblings, our mother and I, we are lifting your family up in prayer and love to the Great Healer.
