Carlos was my classmate in the School of Chemical Engineering at the Universidad Catolica de Santo Tomas de Villanueva in Havana, Cuba from 1953 through 1958. Carlos and I studied together and helped one another and became very close friends. I have many fond memories of Carlos from that time as well as many class reunions and personal visits through the years. May he rest in the Peace that only Jesus can give.
